COVID-19 PROTOCOL

Studio Cleaning Policy

The Studio will be deep cleaned at the start or end of every day using bleach/disinfectant/isopropyl alcohol and/or steaming. Before and after every session or viewing, all surfaces that could be touched will be wiped down and any props, toys or any other items used should be sanitised (props will be limited at this time). All blankets/throws will be washed between sessions, ie. There will be a fresh stock so that one freshly laundered set is used per client. The studio premises will be aired thoroughly in order to minimise any droplets in the air.

There needs to be a significant period of time left between each client appointment in order to enable the cleaning and sanitisation that is required. This will also ensure there is no client overlap.

Sickness Policy

Clients will be required to disclose if anyone coming to their session or viewing has had a fever or any other symptoms such as coughs, sickness or vomiting or has been in contact with anyone displaying COVID-19 symptoms, suspected of having COVID-19 or has had a COVID-19 positive test result at least 24 hours before their appointment. These appointments will be cancelled and re-arranged at a later date with the deposit being carried over to a new booking.

Self-Monitoring

All staff and clients will be expected to monitor their own levels of health before coming into the studio and be mindful of COVID-19 symptoms.

COVID Testing

All Staff are participating in rapid flow testing.

Hand Washing

All staff will be required to wash their hands thoroughly for a minimum period of 20 seconds prior to every client appointment. Appropriate sanitising hand gels will be made available to clients on entry to the premises and they will be requested to use.

Non-Medical Personal Protective face coverings will be used by all staff.  We ask that all adults where a mask when not being photographed.  As masks are no longer mandatory, we won't insist on clients wearing a mask but would prefer it if you did unless you are exempt. We have masks available if you don’t have your own.

Maximum numbers for Photography

We can take a maximum of 20 people for a photographic shoot in the Studio.  The maximum number of adults viewing a photographic shoot taking place is two.  All adults who are not be photographed will be asked to wear a mask please.

Social Distancing

All staff agree that every effort will be made to keep to the 2-metre social distancing policy at all times where possible. This will affect normal procedures such as not shaking hands when greeting clients.  Any directions will be given by the photographer from the recommended social distance.  Due to social distancing restrictions, it may not be possible to attempt some types of shoots. All client visits to the studio need to be on an appointment only basis in order to ensure that there is no contact between clients and no crossover. This includes collections as well as sessions and viewings.

Reasonable Measures

We will advise all clients in advance of their appointment of the reasonable measures that are in place to ensure that everything is done to adhere to Government guidelines. This includes the 2-metre social distancing policy and appropriate use of non-medical PPE if it is deemed that social distance may be less feasible in a certain type of shoot.

 Additional Facilities

We will not be offering refreshments and ask that you do not bring any food or drink into the Studio with the exception of baby’s milk. Please provide your own changing mat for babies.
